Aaron Denbo, CFE, CFI - Aaron is the Special Investigator at Silexa Risk, responsible for investigative operations and practices. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Forensic Interviewer, elicitation specialist, privacy advocate, and licensed private investigator, with extensive training in multiple investigative interviewing techniques.With more than 15 years of leading and conducting investigations involving healthcare clinics and medical fraud, he brings subject‑matter expertise in fraud and special investigations and understands both the investigative process and what clinics and practitioners are facing. He is also an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) specialist, using digital footprint analysis and public‑record research to support provider vetting, credentialing reviews, and complex case work.He has trained law enforcement officers, investigators, detectives, and auditors in investigative methods, and has authored articles for industry publications as well as the book The Able Protector, which focuses on digital privacy and applying Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) to home security.He holds a Master’s degree in Security Management and has an academic background in forensic linguistics, corpus linguistics, and CPTED, which he applies to how people communicate, how environments influence risk, and how evidence is documented and presented.
